I wondered what is Anets stance for the use of turbo button’s?

I wonder since I’m trying to go for the Thirst Slayer achievement which require a lot of clicking.

The program I’m using is Xpadder which i all ready know some people use so they can play this game with a game pad.

Ok thanks for the reply, note though i did use the turbo function for a few seconds to check it out just so you know.

And also please include a karma dring that provides more than 4 point’s soon, the thirst slayer gets tedious enough after just 1 stac

ANet will not approve any type of macro. They may ignore it but they won’t come out and approve it. One reason is liability. If they approved an outside program and then it eats your computer or it later was used to cheat in some manner then they could be considered at fault for approving it. They also do not have the time or manpower to go thru each macro that someone invents and check it out. The best you can do is look over their rules carefully and if you think it even is a little iffy, don’t do it.

I don’t think we’d approve of this, even if we were in the business of approving of that sort of thing.

Ask yourself: is clicking gazillion of times fun? Or challenging? Or anything like that?

People wouldn’t try this kind of “help” if we have possibility to buy/sell/etc. items in stacks … (sorry to say, but clicking like crazy e.g. 500times to cast vote for your favourite Evon/Ellen is not very good way to do these things).

What votes man , lets try some more basic stuff : opening 14 stacks of liquid karma, 100 of those from the daily and some of the others.
Thats like 4k DOUBLE CLICKS, only so u can use that karma with some boosters on .
We really need an option to open so many, but what can i expect when Gaile thinks there’s no need for a macro in a gazzilion click problem

Was just an example … but yeah votes are OK when comparing to other stuff.

(Just to add a note: I’ve never used such clicking stuff and I am 100% against it.)

Macros are clearly against the EULA. Don’t do it and don’t get your account banned. Also don’t do all of thirst slayer at once so you don’t cramp up.

How hard can it be to put an option to use/buy/sell all the stacks at once? Come on, we need it…

There should be an option to buy an X amount stack of items and use all the stack at once. I don’t want to break my mouse after 1 month. The clicking is ridiculous currently and that’s why I abandoned the Thirst achievement until something is done.
