So, I pre-ordered this game through Amazon, and received it at launch. I played some throughout that week and the next – no significant problems, and I was enjoying the game. After that, I got a little busy with work and didn’t get to play for while.
I tried logging in this past week, only to receive this error code “We have detected that your account may have been accessed by an unauthorized individual…”
I opened a ticket with support, and (eventually) received a response titled “Access Restored” and a canned response about my password being reset. I followed those instructions, reset my password successfully, tried to log in… and the error is still there. So, I relayed this information back to support via my ticket. After some requests for additional information, etc, they finally did fix the problem so I could log in. This whole process took several days.
Once “fixed”, I went ahead and enabled email authentication as suggested (I tried to set this up previously but the feature was initially broken or something). Upon logging in, no items or money were missing (granted I didn’t have much, but I imagine a hacker would have taken it anyways). I don’t really think there was any unauthorized access… but whatever. Everything was fixed and I was good to go. So I played some yesterday and started getting back into picking up the game.
I wake up today thinking I’d play a little more, try to log in, got the email authentication prompt so I checked my email, granted access, and… yep, “We have detected that your account may have been accessed by an unauthorized individual.”
Seriously? What gives here? I just want to play the game I purchased.

Same problem. I´ve sent a ticket, but been a while and I did not get an answer yet.

Exactly the same thing happened to me. My account was hacked. This was resolved, I changed my password and enabled email authentication. Six hours later I am suspended again. No explanation as to why, except a snotty email about multiple tickets, my bad, I thought they were two seperate issues and now today, I am suspended for the third time. I have enabled email authentication and changed all my passwords twice and am left wondering why I am bothering investing time and effort into a game that I just keep getting my account uspended when I haven’t even done anything wrong-.-
Mists of Pandaria is out next week, maybe I’ll go and play that instead, never had any probs with Blizz and my account.
