I recently made a full set of exotic armor and weapons for my new level 80. I made them on different characters who already had the professions leveled. I also purchased and upgraded the items with sigils and runes, and got the message “Upgrading an item will make it account bound to you”. However, after upgrading the items and putting them in my bank for my other character to use (note: the items have never been equipped by any character), the items were now soulbound to the characters who upgraded them and unable to be used on the character that I made them for. Including screenshots of the message (one of the items I made had yet to be upgraded)
