Q:
Am I ever going to get my mini rytlock?
Word. The very same happened to me on the 25th August. The remade char recieves only mistfire wolf, heroes band and golem banker. Anet answered that there will be fix soon. But still nothing is being done. Im aware that there are more serious bugs. On the other hand I think simply resending the three items might be one of the easiest bug fixes ever.
Except they have to send it out to every user who has had this problem and if they don’t identify the cause of the problem, then every user will continue to have this problem and they’ll have to keep sending them out.
I’m in the same boat, lost mine in the same way, only waiting couple of days less with the ticket up there.

True, but as stated the game has been out less than two weeks and ANet seems to be pushing out updates every single day (which is a feat in it’s own right). I have no doubt that this will get fixed once the more dire bugs and exploits have been dealt with. Missing a Rytlock, while still being annoying, is in no way a gamebreaker. And lets face it, Anet has been stellar on communicating what’s going on as well as fixing them in a timely manner (e.g. account securtiy > missing Rytlock) compared to some other MMOs out there (anyone remember a certain dragon from a certain game that even after XX “fixes” and almost a year still glitches more than ever?).
yes, there are things that needs fixing in the game still BUT compared to the time it has been out and what already has been fixed they have a VERY good track record
Your miniature Rytlock Brimstone is classed as a collectible, and should be sitting in the collection tab of your bank along with any other collectible items (such as gathering materials and other minis). I might be wrong though as I have no miniatures myself, just check that first.
Edit: I have checked with friends, and unfortunately it seems like your miniature Rytlock is lost. I don’t believe ArenaNet ever explicitly stated that the miniature Rytlock would be mailed to every character, especially given the bank is account-wide.

I bought the digital deluxe with ingame gems as well. Unfortunately, I assumed that like most games I’ve played in the past any deluxe rewards would be sent to each character. So when I rerolled my character and found out that I had just permanently deleted my glory and influence items, I was pretty peeved. I created a ticket and was told the same as most, that they were aware of the issue and were working on it. The golem banker, ring, and mistfire (I assume) have showed up for all of my characters and luckily I had put the Rytlock in collectables. but the glory chalice and influence tome are gone. 11 days with no update on the issue.
This happened to me as well. I am hoping that in time this issue will be fixed, but I still can’t help but worry. I hadn’t known I could put minis in collectibles and had not yet accessed my bank, so I didn’t know how to safeguard these things… nor did I really think it would be necessary. Hopefully they are working on it, as it’s an issue of losing something paid for in real money.
In my opinion, the handling of the CE items is terrible.
Those of us who got it, paid $150 for the CE. The figurine is very nice, however, the in game items are also part of the draw to it.
I’m totally ok with the chalice and the book being one shot items. However, the CE pet, the banker and those one shotters, need to be ACCOUNT WIDE ON ALL TOONS, not just the first one made. Also, the banker needs to be a permanent item, not disappearing after 4 days.
This is totally bogus. I don’t ever recall seeing anywhere where these aren’t account wide permanent things (banker), I would not have paid the amount of money for the CE had I known that.
Please change this, make them account wide, also do not have them removed, they should be permanent, except those two items that are used. those can stay as is, just make available to all toons.

I get a new golem banker whenever I create a new character.
I did the same thing, took out my Rytlock to see what he looked like, and not knowing it was once per account, or about the collectables(didn’t play betas) deleted the char cause I changed my mind on looks. I have gotten the wolf skill and the ring/banker on all subsequent chars though.
I do agree that the banker should of been permanent and not a 4 day item.
I submitted a ticket on this issue. Here was my reply:

shoot if the banker was permanent I would dish out 20 bucks and get the deluxe…..Only reason I didn’t is becasue it’s all consumable krap….All you really get is the elite skill and Rytlock……20 bucks for a skill and a mini is too much IMO.
It said very clearly from the first day the info was available that the banker was a 5 day item. It’s the reason I didn’t bother with either the CE or the DDE for this game.
Do we have to submit a ticket to get the items back?
Yup. I emailed Anet about this and this was my email response… I’ve yet to receive the Actual Mail with a resent item. Very Disappointed . I resubmitted the ticket later and…Not even a single response either.

I received these items but somehow the rytlock was lost among the other items before I was able to use them when i deleted the character it was mailed to before stashing it, along with the other items. I thought once I received it in the mail from reading the description I figured it would be Account Bound like in other games, not character bound. I’m curious as to why this isn’t automatically addressed once you receive the items. I hope it won’t be as easy to lose similiar items that’d be purchased from the in-game gem store. Can I please get them resent to my account, preferably to my character (name). Thank you.

We are aware of the issue with Collector’s Edition/Digital Deluxe Edition items going missing after deleting a character that had them. It has happened to many of us, too. -_- This issue is still being investigated and we hope to have a resolution soon. If you did receive your items but your Summon Mistfire Wolf is greyed out even after reaching level 30, know that this is also being worked on and we hope to have a fix for it soon. We are currently working on a resolution for players who are missing their Collector’s or Digital Deluxe Edition items, or who used them and found that an item did not function properly. We are working on a resolution to this issue, and once is it resolved, you automatically will receive your in-game items on your account.

We’re writing to you today in response to your support ticket asking for help with Collector’s Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition in-game items.
These in-game items are consumable, and are provided to your account using the in-game mail system. You can leave them in the in-game mail for as long as you want. Once you take them out of the in-game mail into a character’s inventory, be sure not to delete the character with those items in their inventory.
We’re going to replace these items on your account by sending another copy of them in another in-game mail. But there are a couple of things you should know:
•Each item can only be used once per account. If you already used the first copy of the item you received, the new copy you receive will not be functional.
•We can trigger a second distribution of items just one time per account. So when you are deleting characters in the future, take care to move your special items to your storage so that you do not delete the one-time items.
