April 19 2016 update – Now I can’t see my AOE rings

Just what the title says: can’t see aoe rings anywhere, enemy or friendly. Makes playing the game really hard. Died at Mai Trin so many times because I can’t see cannon fire. Happened right after this update.

Bumping cause of having same issue!

Just out of curiosity: what profession? I can see my AoE rings just fine then not sure if it’s a wide spread issue.

I’m on my guardian, but for me it’s only enemy AoE rings. Haven’t done dungeons in ages but it appears in multiple fractals:
- Mai Trin
- Underground Facility
- Snowblind

I have the same problem. Lack of AoE is not noticed in PvP, WvW or generally PvE, but only on fractals. As far as I can see allies AoE or mine own (so it seems to me ^ ^), but not enemies. The problem is quite burdensome, especially on such Molten Furnace fractal and etc.

I tried to change the graphics settings, have updated drivers, nothing helps. My graphics card is the GTX 970.

AN, please, fix it how fast you can.

GFX = GTX770
Windows 7

Just tried 32 bit vs 64 bit, both gave the same errors.

Any dev to comment as they’ve noticed the thing? I’ve also send a support ticket with 0 response so far :/

dev just told me about this option:
Disable Area of Effect Rings — Hides the area of effect rings normally shown on the ground.
