I have 3 explorer ascended backpeices on same character I didn’t realise choosing stats would soulbound it now i have almost 200g worth of backpeice with same stats on same character! Can anything be done!? It was all my gold, none of them were intended for that character

Does the new transmutation split item in the gem store allow you to unsoulbound to account bound a character? But I think you’d probably have to change the skin on the backpiece first in order for these to work. I honestly don’t know, but that may work if you can do some research on it.

Here’s your solution.

1. Buy a Backpack SET. It’s important that it’s a set because the sets give you a white Backpack Strap.
2. Transmute the backpack on to the white strap, choosing the Ascended as the skin and the Strap as the base. This makes the backpack account-bound.
3. Move the backpack on to the character you want the Ascended backpack to stick on.
4. Use a Transmutation Splitter to split the Ascended backpiece from the Backpack Strap. The end result Ascended backpiece is soulbound to that character, so don’t mess it up!

I used this method to move a fractal capacitor from my first guardian to my new warrior a couple days ago, so it works. Hope it helps!
