Guild Wars 2

I got this game at launch and really never had the time to get into it. I recently started playing again and have been told I should have a shared inventory slot and a free lvl 80 upgrade token along with some gear and other goodies. I don’t have any of this and really have no idea if I should? From what I understand everyone got it, so there’s no reason why I do not?

Do you have HoT? I believe you only get if you bought the expansion

It’s part of the expansion. If you do not own Heart of Thorns, you won’t be able to access the free Shared Inventory Slot and Instant Level 80 Boost.

Oh okay, I’m sorry to waste your time. The in game community kept assuring me everyone received these items as part of the vanilla GW2 game. Either I was trolled or misinformed, either way I should have looked into it more. Apologies, close the thread. Thanks for the help!
