At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re entirely unaware of this issue.

Weeks after HoT release of the insignia/inscription recipes not being available in-game, ANet correct their mistake, now weeks of waiting for the late added insignias/inscriptions to be patched to be Forge compatible.

But we better focus on those visual changes.

I hope someone notices.

Confirmed – Doesn’t work with the insignia or the inscription

I tried to change the sats of my ascended gear to trailblazer but the insignia isn’t showing up on the forge item select. even after that lastest patch I still can’t use it. please fix this as soon as you can please.

Bump – spent 50-60g on the mats for the insignias, and still can’t transmute my gear. Can’t even use them to craft new Ascended items since they are exotic…

Seriously disappointed, being forced to play builds I don’t want to since nothing has been done about this.

You can’t use trailblazer insignia in the mystic forge to craft the ascended variant.

Any chance we could get an ETA to fix this?

They took ages to fix the trailblazer recipe even after numerous forum threads and in game asking anet staffs. And now this..

I have also spent a good time investing in getting the ley-line crystals to get the exotic recipe, then the amount of gold to get the materials to change from Dire Stats to Trailblazer, only to find that I cannot even select it to put into the Mystic Forge. Please, please, please get this fixed as I’ve changed my legendary weapons to this stat easy enough but my armour and other ascended weapons cannot. This is driving me somewhat barmy!

We completely ignored all previous reports and we need to be reminded every hour and maybe someone will find 10 mins free time to fix this.

Tomorrow isn’t major patch day… Next release date is 12/15 and they typically try not to do a hotfix build on the off-week, of which this is.

I chose “[Area] > Player”, “[Sub Area] > Crafting”, and check the option for “Blocking Progress”.

I would report it as scamming if I could, since ANet scammed me into dropping 60g on mats for items I can’t actually craft…wah wah.

I see theres more stuff in the gem store to purchase, but game halting mechanics are still on the backburner, yeeeeah, well the more this happens the less I tend to spend real money on something.

Honestly, this looks really bad for Anet. I’ve been having conversations with guildies, friends, and others about this issue and no one is impressed. Things like this make the game spoiled, and no longer fun. It should have been fixed the day is was released (which was a couple weeks after HoT — even that is unacceptable). Until this issue is fixed I have nothing good to say about the current state of the game.

I think im going to give up on this im not going to wait day after day after day twiddling my thumbs waiting for a fix, this is obviously very low on their priority to do list even though its an important part of broken content. I cannot begin to imagine it is even difficult to fix considering the other stats work. In protest I am not spending another cent in the gem store until we at least get some sort of update on the situation.

Eh, might as well just toss those insignias now (tossing 60+ gold, that is), already made some other armor…
But it’s not about 60 gold, it’s about the fact that I will stop pestering friends telling them how awesome this game is and that they should start playing it. You clearly don’t care enough so I wont care to bring you new people just as well.
It was rather naive to think so highly of Anet when I started playing and when I saw how great the raw gameplay mechanics are.

I don’t think I’m as frustrated about this as some other people. I mean, I already have a set of Ascended Dire gear (which most of you have as well), and Dire is really not that different from Trailblazer. Especially since you can’t get Trailblazer Ascended trinkets anyways.

But it is kitten annoying that this is probably a 5 minute fix for a dev (just add one more item to a list in a script/config file), and we’ve gone through what, 10, 15 patches and nothing? This is the definition of “low-hanging-fruit”. Someone, anyone, please just fix it already…

I bought an exotic set of Dire yesterday just so I can play on that character again. There’s an ascended Dire set without runes/infusions sitting in my bank because of this bug, waiting to be changed to Trailblazers. Really annoying, this needs to be fixed pronto! /sharpenpitchfork

Here’s a screenshot showing the Trailblazer’s Insignia and Inscription in my inventory, but not in the ‘inventory’ of the Mystic Forge. I’ve recently opened a support ticket in an attempt to shed more light on the issue. What I’ve received in response is:

“Unfortunately the issue as a whole has to be dealt with by our development team, I can only look into this for your account at the moment, to see if there is anything specific that we can do. So we will need a picture from your perspective of this happening. We can receive it whenever is most convenient for you but I must also warn you if there is not something unique about your case that we can find through investigation, the situation will have to wait for the fix from our development team. If this turns out to be the case then I would ask for your patience in this matter.”

My patience ran short a long time ago, but I am looking forward to future responses concerning this issue.

This is a faulty product that I have purchased, I want my product fixed please, if international laws were upto date I could imagine alote of class actions against companies these days, not naming Anet as one of them I suppose because they are reasonable and have a pretty good rep, but none the less, sometimes its the small things that can annoy the churning stomach that is the gaming community.

I really hope this will be fixed tomorrow. But the preview on Dulfy doesn’t instill hope.

Still nothing, with no mention of it anywhere in recent posts. Anet doesn’t give one kittensniffle about this issue. Most likely they are preoccupied with the mess that sPvP is right now with the meta. Still not an excuse to ignore something as huge as this for months and months and months and months….

Hahahahahaha (excessive usage of ‘ha’ to get my point through), this is even funnier than the balance patch posted yesterday. Guess they were busy implementing stuff to gem store. Can’t work on 2 places at once!

aNET clearly ignoring gamers. Boderland fail, raid fail, pvp balance fail even new armour stats fail(Trail..). Nothing fixed. Give me a 1 reason to play HoT (New legendary weaps!!!). I cant recommend gw2 atm…

They said that, although evidence suggests they didn’t look at it at all.

I checked this out after yesterdays patch as well and to no avail. I’m guessing it won’t be fixed until end of Jan like a lot of other stuff? I also then promptly raised other issues (guild xp stuck, settings etc) which I’m sure they’re being overwhelmed with as it is now the Christmas period. :/
