Bandit Crest vendor gave 10,000 crests
This happened to me too, I sent an ingame bug report.
From what I see it should pay you 100 crests, it seems someone put some “extra” zeros there :P

- Fixed a bug in which a cryptobotanist gave too many bandit crests in exchange for a Mordrem heart.

No problem. I just recalled this thread when I saw it in the patch notes.
These bugs never happen to me :-)
