I’m not sure if this is a bug or not but when I change my gear colors everything will change except for my boots. I add a color to them, and it shows that it changed them but when I close my character window all of my other colors will change except for my boots.

Curious.

Anyone else having this problem? Kind of annoying to have a different color pallet on my mesmer… and purple boots forever.

I’ve seen a few issues with this from other players. I’ve seen at least one thread here that I commented on, but I’ve talked to several in game about it.

This issue seems to arise frome transmuted gear, but I’m not sure how it comes about.

If the devs don’t address it here for you, file a ticket about it and post your fix here afterwards for others who may have this issue as well. (with any luck, they’ll post a fix here for you

I’ve had this problem on multiple characters with my boots never being transmuted. I’ll file a ticket.

I’ve seen this bug show up on occasion, and in one case it even caused a game crash.

My workaround was to use the “dye remover” on all color panels for the boots. Close the hero window, then re-open and apply dye as normal. This has worked for me every time I’ve run into the bug.

Anyone find a fix for this? Having the exact same issue. It is also affecting my pants.

I’m having this exact issue. I tried the Dye Remover on all slots and tried using all kinds of dyes, but my Priory boots remain this embarrassingly hot pink color…

I saw this and was going to post that exact recommendation. I have not had this issue myself, but I remembered reading about it once before, and it fixed it for a guildee.

Kind of funny to see a post ask if there is a fix for this, when the prior post from a month before has a fix, and so does wiki (or did)

Unless, it’s order of whispers then that is a separate problem that I am unsure if it has been fixed again or not.
