Starting this thread to keep track of all broken event chains, please add any you know of that I’ve missed. Most of mine have to do with Treasure Hunter-related ones.

Timberline Falls – Protect krewe leader Dobbs as the krewe clears the excavation site

Finishes once and then doesn’t reset. Wiki recommends logging in immediately after a patch to catch it on its first and only runthrough.

Straits of Devastation – Protect Scholar Breandan while he examines the seabed near Broken Spit

Bugged mid-event, Scholar Breandan is stuck in a wall underwater, doesn’t talk to you, move, and no enemies come in range to attack him to try and get him out of it.

Dredgehaunt Cliffs – In Pursuit of Knowledge

Meta event UI says “The dredge and the Priory are competing for the center camps.” even when there are no active events at Fridgardr Lodge or Firebase Molek, and the event to recapture Fridgardr Lodge never pops, blocking any further progress.

Just-…such a clusterkitten. When the list of bugs is longer than the list of events, you know you messed up.

Any chance fixes for these are being worked on? Sam and Commissar’s Manifesto can only be obtained through these, and if they’re always bugged they’re just gonna get more and more expensive as the existing supply dwindles. I’d like to at least have a SHOT at completing Treasure Hunter, Anet.

We do know that Ogre Wars and Pursuit of Knowledge are being looked at, at least. However, no word on when those changes will actually get put into the game.

I like how all of these have collections tied to them, though. One also is a trait and 2 have world boss chests. C’mon anet. We don’t need new dailies, we need this crap to work.
