Guild chat is not working. Asked several people of different guilds, all same problem.

Random shouts. Roam around and you will hear stuff like SHAKE IT OFF. AGONY TORMENT PAAAIN and so on.

Edit: Now whispers seems to be bugging out as well.

Indeed, my character shouts a bit of every profession and race’s quotes…

I’m so glad you posted this. I thought I was going crazy. I was in the Edge of the Mists with no one else around, yet I kept hearing random class/race shouts. It was freaking me out. Funny bug.

Actually it’s your character that speaks: check their lips! ^^

Mine seems to prefer being a female asura mesmer (while being a male human elementalist)!

To go on the bug regarding the inability to chat in guild chat, when you are able to chat in guild chat (I was able to for a while), it disappears when you change to a different tab (even when guild chat is still one checked in that tab).

Along with the guild chat bugs, there are other guild related bugs. Guild build/upgrade queues only progress one upgrade at a time rather than the normal two.

The bug report feature does not work either as the different categories are replaced by a series of numbers (rather than normal text). Expect a lot of people reporting bugs here.

I too keep hearing voices, usually in my own voice saying things when there is no one else around. I have heard other voices though as well…. and no it’s not me. XD

I have also seen black boxs over my EXP bar level and next level, I can still see my level and next level but I got these black boxs were they are placed. Plus the loading screens are messed up for me…like they are higher then normal and smaller.

for me making myself invisible then back to visible helped in guild chat problem, i could write after it but cant play the game in fullscreen mode after patch, it starts to flicker from a black-screen to desktop back and forth
but with windowed mode it works fine :S

Luckily they delayed the patch to test it…

I’ve also noticed that guild upgrade ques are broken. If you have the workshop to allow 2 builds at once you’ll still only be building 1 thing at a time for the moment.

None of my keybinds work. They work in every other game, but keybinds that were just working yesterday no longer respond. In fact, when i try to reassign my keys to the same buttons, they won’t even respond. I spent a lot of money on my keyboard to play comfortably and i can’t even use the extra keys i’ve become so familiar with to play (i also have medical issues with my left hand, i need to play with my keys set very specifically). I also can’t type in guild chat, the game says “you’re not in a guild.” when i clearly see my guild talking (go invisible and then online and that’s fixed). There are 1000 other complaints by players right now other than mine alone. We appreciate the camera changes, but not if it breaks everything else. Unfortunately, i will no longer be playing GW2, my favorite game to play, until these issues are addressed.

another guild chat bug: when changing chat tabs, it vanishes the guild conversation. This also happens when entering an instanced map. Or Leaving the city.

I’d like to share what I’ve found in the short time I logged in after patching as well. Most was already described in this thread.

First thing I’ve noticed, is the loading screen seems to be messed up (mainly the picture is smaller).

Then, some changes in the UI. First, the exp-bar on the bottom of the screen looks different (mainly the two 80’s). Then, the minimap has a larger gap to the exp-bar now. Last but not least… I can see guildchat, but I can not type in it, because apparently I’m not in a guild…

Hopefully, those things will be fixed quickly.

When i started hearing those random voices i immediately rechecked the date, it’s not 1st April so maybe this slipped in a couple weeks early by mistake?

I remember blizzard did this prank way back in WoW and trade chat went all cuckoo. xD

Someone stole my first line (Pridedemon) Just killed a blueish/greenish/brownish Great Jungle Wurm in Caledon Forest. No idea if this is a new feature or a bug, but I guess the last.

I think we can safely say that despite the extra testing this patch is still very buggy. I got my daily so I quit for today. I expect ArenaNet to fix this mess in the next 21 hours. So when I come back tomorrow afternoon/evening (CET) I can play normally again.
