Hi, all, I recently completed the second personal story quest Shadows of The Past: Liberation with two of my friends. The leader of the party received the end-mission rewards and xp whereas my other friend and myself couldn’t leave the instance nor received any rewards.
Right now, we’re stuck on the same mission (Liberation) with no way to complete it. The instance portal doesn’t exist and our mission objective is to read our mail, as we were supposed to receive some new mail. We have no mail and restarting the game has no change in the ‘bug’.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

You could try a -repair of the client. Or you could submit a Tech Support request.

have you tried just waypointing out? also did you get a prompt before starting that you would not have your story progress?

if you cannot waypoint, try the pvp/wvw windows to get to lions arch

I’ve restarted my game, played other quests but I still have a green marker that tells me to read my mail. I don’t have any new mail to read and therefore can’t progress any further through my story.
I got glitched out of a party session during the final mission and couldn’t get back in.

Also I tried repairing but it didn’t work. Thanks for the help though!

Have you tried emptying out your mail and anything that might be waiting for pick-up at the TP (yes, I know it sounds odd, but they are sometimes strangely connected)? The mail might just be waiting in the queue.

One way to force the mail to occur again is to start the living story replay, then abandoning. It forces any story steps to be repeated in a single story objective.
