Simply put, its bugged.
After you kill the boss you are supposed to get your reward but its a 50/50 chance that the guy will talk to you and give your reward.
Please fix, just wasted 2hrs of my life.

Which boss? If it’s the end boss you need to wait till everyone’s finished watching the cutscene it should then give you the completion reward.
