This is an aura item that I actually want but none have dropped in months now. I find it very unlikely people are hoarding them when buy orders are upwards of 8kg. How did the drop rate of this item go from rare to none at all with a patch that had nothing to do with TD?

I’d maybe rephrase your post as:

Has this item stopped dropping entirely? If so, was it intended? According to my reading of the TP, there’s been near 0 supply for months, despite the high available offers.

I’d say: that’s inconclusive — there have been a few in the last month on the TP, although none lasting more than 5 minutes between Feb & May. That perhaps means that everyone getting one has kept or sold it outside the TP (since there’s a 10k limit on TP trades).

It’s worth asking if the drop rate got nerfed, but I suspect it’s just so low that we’ll always see long periods in which none are available on the TP.
