Well basically now that we have a shortcut , the challenge mote is still up there , and unreachable so i cannot complete my Ad Infinium Tier 2 achievement.

That’s not the only thing that’s gone – the Mist Geyser has too. Just spent an hour combing the place trying to find it, incase they had moved it, but no luck – so you also can’t complete Ad Infinium Tier 3 either.

Guess this was a last minute change that ANet forgot to test…

Searching on Scale 16 FWIW, though I expect it’s gone from all scales.

After the update, the map changed.

Snowblind Challenge Mote is missing

had a party search whole new starting area and couldn’t find it

Seconded. Standing directly where it was pre-update, and there’s nothing here. Was kinda hoping to finish Unbound today too…

Agreed. Spent two hours looking through the instance and online to see where it could have gone. Nothing…

yesterday missing today checked and also missing ;( please fix!

I’ve just done the Daily lvl 37 Snowblind Fractal and no Mist Geyser here either…

i’ve spent 20 mins in snowblind fractal lvl 5 and 37 to search for the myst geyser but it seems like that the myst geyser in snowblind fractal is missing

I wonder how long it will take for them to fix this issue.

The mote is the last thing I need to progress to tier 3

Same issue for me. Not able to progress in the Ad Infinitum collections due to missing geyser in Snowblind. Really hope they look into this.

The mist geyser is still missing from the Snowblind fractal. I check with two different groups and covered the entire map…it’s just not there.

Same problem here with 27 and 37 Snowblind

Can also confirm, went looking across multiple scales and didn’t see it in any of them. Kinda aggravating, it’s the last piece of Unbound for me.

When you are on part III of the collection, trying to get Magically Charged infusion Sample, the mist geyser is not where it used to be or on the map at all. I tried for 25-30 minutes on level 5 and 27 looking around entire map before and after final boss, and after the frozen elemental…is this a known issue because it is halting my progress!

I’ve also submitted a bug issue in game with a screen shot of where it normally is. Unless I’m missing something?

This is like the 4th or 5th thread about either the mist or the challenge mote. I know I made a thread about the mote yesterday.

So I haven’t seen anyone talking about it yet, but the challenge mote for Snowblind Fractal for the Ad Infinintum collection is gone after the new patch that changed the beginning of the map (usually could be found at the very beginning, but now we can’t access that area anymore nor it can be found in the starting room). Tried it on the right scale (which says from 21 to 50), but the devs probably forgot it up there (opened a ticket as well, but with new patch might take a while).

Anyone else noticed this?

The mote has been fixed

Any idea if the Mist Geyser has been fixed though? It wasn’t in the patch notes. They fixed the Mote so they obviously saw this thread, but did they actually bother to read anything beyond the first post?

I still can’t find the Mist Geyser so I’m guessing it hasn’t been addressed.

Guess we start a new thread.

Funny thing is, everyone that posted here for the missing challenge mote will soon be posting again when they realize the Geyser is gone too once they make it to the next collection :p.
