Most of my WvW guild myself included were not able to see enemy Winds of disenchantment bubbles.
Since these bubbles already have such a huge impact on the course of the battle, it is essential that they are visible, but we had some people reporting 4 or 5 at a time cast by the enemy, while many of us saw none. We knew they were being cast by the enemy party composition and our complete loss of buffs basically all the time, but we could not see them at all.
Since these seem to be cast at up to like 5 at a time by each zerg, and they have such a big impact, the system needs to be able to handle drawing at least 15 of them at a time, and they all need to be clearly identifiable. I don’t think anyone would mind if you turned the extra effects off on 3rd bubble onward as long as they are all visible.
I will say I tried it on both Best Appearance and Best Performance to no avail
It has to do with “Effect LOD”. Disabling it will make more effects render, but in WvW it destroys your frame rate because this game is badly optimized. For reference, I have a gtx 1080, 32gb ram, and i7-6700k and turning everything on low with effect lod disabled i get 15 fps. I see the bubbles, but its miserable.
Necromancer is the worst class hands down. Wake up Anet.
