Guild Wars 2

I have downloaded, without entering the game.

I have entered the game and moved from one place to another in Lion’s Arch and STILL a downloading screen appears.

I exit three times and three more times the program downloads. I move in Lion’s Arch and it STILL continues to say the program is downloading from screen to screen from place to place.

The download is not finishing – please fix this annoying and time consuming mess.

Update: Why do we have to “download” each new map now? I have to “download” Gendarran Fields and then “download” Lion’s Arch each and every time I want to go there?

Is this the “new” GW2? If so it is slower than ever.

ADDENDUM.

Tried repairing the client. The command line “-repair” given in the troubleshooting page isn’t working at all, it gets “stuck”.

Tried rebooting.

Tried restarting as administrator.
