Apologies if this is a repeat post.
Have the loot bags that you receive for completing “Victory or Death” been fixed yet?
I read somewere that people were getting low level blues from them, and dont want to finish the story until its been fixed (if its unintentional, if it is then BAH!).

Anyone have any idea at all?

I just finished it and I got 5 Exotic Loot Bags and was all excited, but when I opened them all up I got 4 blue and 1 green item. Lowest one being LEVEL 19 !!!!

So no, this is NOT fixed, unless it’s intentional, but then it’s a very very bad joke,

You get better reward from jumping around and exploring in a zone than killing the very final superboss?!?!?

Come on, this cant be right.

I found no way to open a ticket or petition ingame, only way is to bug report, where they say that they will not contact you.

I really hope they fix this and hand out correct rewards to those that already completed it. This is NOT beta anymore.

Good to know.. I will not finish my storyline until we get some answer on this.

Just opened mine to find 5 blues, as low as level 26.

An amazing reward for completing the personal storyline…

Ditto, received blues and greens ranging from level 18 -78, would be nice to get an official comment and some offer of the correct rewards.

Me too, 4 blue items and 1 green level 26. This cannot be a just reward for all that was involved in this quest chain.

An offical response would be good please

I hope they fix this so I can finish my story quest. I wonder if the people that already looted their bags will even get help.

So i see a patch. Go to the wiki hopeing that this issue is fixed, no word about it.

Maye it is a joke. Lol. Or this is for the 2nd char you are probably going to start after you finished the first one with story. I also heard there will be some item for the backpack slot as reward for finishing your story(these you can’t craft? and where you got one ealier 30 or somehere?). Is that true?

Received only blues ranging from level 18 -28, very fun reward for the last mission

I really hope the reward i got from loot bags was just a bad joke, it wasn’t even worth keeping for an alt, it was instant merchant fodder.
I would be more happy if i got 5 silver

What a huge disappointment. A level 19 Blue? Really? This can’t possibly be itemized correctly or the intended reward in exotic loot bags for finishing a Storyline.

Anyone know if this is fixed yet? I am currently in the lvl 70 personal story point and wondering if its worth completing?

I’m waiting on this as well. I’ve finished the quest and have the bags, but don’t want to open them till I hear that either “this is what you get” or “its fixed and you should get some yellow/orange/green level 80 gear”.

I had never heared of the issue when I finnished my story about a hour ago, and got same crap as eveyone else, though I did get a lvl 80 blue shortbow, but he other 4 items were 30-60ish.

Sorry to hear that happened. I guess I won’t be finishing my storyline today.

Same happend for me, I opened the bags (since I had never heard of this issue before) and only got crappy low-level stuff. I realy hope this gets fixed AND the people who suffered from this get a second set of bags because this reward for finishing the main story is just a bad joke.

Still holding off the 80 mission(like most people) till I see a response from anet…

Yeah, just finished the game, all low-level blues, the highest being around lvl40.

Not sure why they cant just say if it is a bug or intended. the highest I got was a lvl 20 green.

my friend got a lvl 19 blue sword, and the best he got was a lvl 41 green sheild

Just finished the storyline and just as it has been said here I was really excited for the EXOTIC bags and expected EXOTICS out of the EXOTIC bags because I already got EXOTICS for completing maps.
And what did I get? 4 blues and one green. One blue for lvl 26.

I feel kinda trolled.

Also, if this gets fixed and there is no way to get the bags again this will be an even bigger troll.

3day post about a major bug, and no response. good stuff…

i suppose i’ll have to slow down then… think i’ll just complain about the Mouth of Zhaitan fight or something…

same here opened it yesterday ~20pm MET and got 2 Greens 3Blues lowest level 29 Highest 78 nice xD

Yeeahh.. I would like a response to this too. I only have the last mission left, and don’t want to do it if this turns out to be a bug.

One would think something like this would have been caught in QA if it was unintended. I can not believe it is truly intended however, the end reward (in exotic bags) for the most epic quest line in the game spanning the entire life of the character. I’ll hold off on my final few quests for my ‘main’ until this gets some official word.

100% junk came out of those bags. All blue’s too..

Srsly, Someone told me i would get a exotic weapon from completeing it, they where wrong.
Im keeping my bags in my bank untill i hear its been fixed, i don’t want to open them to find nothing but trash that im gona vendor and make 5 silver off of.

Just finished the story and got my bags. Gonna stash them in my bank till this is fixed.

Seriously, you’d think this would be something that someone would check. 5 Exotic-level loot bags giving level 20 blue gear, how the hell did that get missed?

Would love a response to this aswell. As many others I’m holding off on running the dungeon as I’m on the final step of the quest until I’m sure this is fixed.

Just adding that the same thing happened to me as well. 4 Level 26 blues, and 1 level 61 green all beyond worthless.

Think they’re putting more effort into solving the current dungeon issues then they do on fixing the finall reward for the story :/

Same issue here. Got 5 junk items ranging from level 25 to 78.

I’d like an answer to this too, I don’t want to finish the story only to get junk items that I could farm in 5 minutes doing an event or whatnot.. I’ve tried asking in Twitter too but they just ignore me.

Still no official word if we are supposed to get low level crap loot from those exotic bags.

Same. Got a bunch of low-mid level blues. Here’s to hoping once it’s fixed, we get some proper ones.
