The issue with this bug is that it’s probably hard for the team to duplicate it internally – Which means the issue is most likely happening somewhere between their server and your computer. I’ve personally only encountered the bug occasionally. Say, once every 7 days.

This happens to me a few times a day now. Happening right now again. I might as well post here each time it happens.

If that “repair stuff” really solves the problem, yes, I will blame them even more.

Yes, repairing your client completely solves this issue. Just do it, you have nothing at all to lose other than like a good 20 minutes.. which you can spend doing on other things.

This has just happened to me FIVE TIMES IN A ROW.

Anet, guys, what is up? I thought you were looking into it, the bug was introduced by the last update I haven’t had this before.
For us who play pvp only it’s kinda game breaking especially in the mid-tourney.
Please prioritize this.

I never had this issue either until after the most recent patch but it is to the point now where I can’t even pvp anymore. Today it’s been every single game. All i do is spvp & tpvp so it’s kind of a game ender for us pvpers.

What about some reply about this error and not just trolling playerbase witch merging threads messages devs? It is extremely frustrating to lose a matches because you are unable to repair the same bug you “repaired” before.

The endless loading screen between maps … is that related to the increase in DC’s as well lately. Since this past patch, my game client now DC’s nightly at least once…. more often usually (at least 2 -3 times in wvw, across 5 hours of play).

Never used to have this issue. It’s gotten to the point when my client sends information to you guys, I’m just hitting the send button.

It’s really impacting game play and experience. I mean what game out there crashes or has these issues this frequently?

fyi … yes, I have freshly imaged my drive, checked to ensure updated drivers, not issues with my h/w and driver config. Reinstalled the game client, tested other games and run fine. Hell even gw1 runs fine, but I know its 2 completely separate games game engines etc.

Is there anything we can do outside of sending those reports? Is there some settings we should change? Is it related to the camera view / graphics chipset? If there is something I can do on my part, I’m more than happy to. Can a configuration help mitigate these interim as a band-aid until a fix is in place?

I want to do something here … to avoid getting randomly black screened while running in a match up. Any suggestions are appreciated, until then keep well, and hope this is resolved soon.

Just lost paid tournaments because 2 our players got loading screen bug… Dear Arenanet, you have time to do some lazy events and other stuff…but you cant fix this during 2 weeks?!?

Blows my mind, really does…..still not fixed. Anyone know if this is grounds for refund? I mean if my windows did’nt release updates to fix bugs i think that would call for some kind of action….

It just strikes me as odd that the most comment activity from the devs here is to merge threads, not address the problem, or at least acknowledge them. I have faith in you, Anet, but something needs to give here.

There is no solution.. other than repairing the client which only works for a handful of people.. (including me, yay!). Wonder when Anet will properly address this issue though..

My guild is having the same issue.

If I reboot after every match I don’t have the problem. This is the same workaround my guild used when this was patched in last time (it was fixed). We’ve tried everything from formatting to HW changes and many of us are still having problems.

And again… going to post every time…

Well this along with the many other “bugs” are starting to get real old real fast. I’m getting this constantly and it is old as hell already. I do PvP and basically only PvP and at this point I can’t seem to do much of that with this issue. Somethign from the Devs sure would be nice, they can’t say they know nothing as it seems to be something more then just a couple of ppl are having issue with. At least say ya know about it and are looking into it and stop ignoring the issue.

Just take Jackals advice and reload your system every time you play a match – seems like a reasonable work around!

Dear Arenanet please let us know if your getting in to the trouble…because it is pretty anoying and impossible to play paid tournaments right now when you cant be sure that no player will drop because of the “endless loading screen bug”… Thank you

I thought the ninja patch last night fixed this because after we downloaded it, me and my team didn’t get it once for the three hours we played.

Just did a tourn, got it twice, one in first round and twice in the third round, each of which were my only deaths in the tournament. It’s just a joke to be honest. Nearly two weeks, and not even a heads up or a temporary fix.
I mean this is just unbelievable. On the rare occasion that we manage to do paids, at least one of us gets the loading stuck which 90% of the time causes us to lose the game.

Yes it is still here – I even got it few times in spvp, not only tournaments…

I think PvP still in beta. Is very annoying.

Another bug is in serverlist when I try to join in a match, I click join…doesn’t load anything and after a couple of seconds… error 33…..

please work to fix PvP, after 3 months and PvP is very bad.

Have had lots of issues with these over the past week or so in all sorts of areas. Had thought the cause of this for me was something else on PC (my virus checker can sometimes interferes but still get issue even when it isn’t scanning) but from the sounds of it it ain’t on my PC end!

Happened again. Paids unplayable pretty much. If you lose a big team fight, chances are at least of your guys has got loading bug. Instant gg.

Anet you know how to enrage your customers, can we have any update about this bug? Im sure that a large part of us is thinking that you dont reply anymore because you dont know how to fix this. Can you say somthing? Even that we have to live with the bug if we wish to play.

Losing Tournaments and games in general from half month. Today stucked in the temple of silent storm map while winning and had to alt+f4, seems that I cant play my berserker thief and have to play my guardian bunker to play normally (to stay alive more). I hope we get a reply from you Anet, wish to know if we can stay happy cause you are fixing or if we can change game cause you cant fix or because it will take a longer time

sPvP is unplayable for now because you either get lag spike and the game freezes, so you have to restart it, or due to endless loading screen you have to restart it. Solution? Be so good that you do not die. Is it arenanet’s purpose?

No, definitely not. I can understand you have problems with fixing it. I can understand you do a lot more about PvE than PvP. I can understand that stupid PvE events are more important than fixing PvP. But I cannot undersand WHY is it so hard just to give a silly reply to dozens of players writing in this thread for a couple of weeks. You just ignore it, leaving us with no darkest idea if we should uninstall this bugged game because you will never be able to fix it or should we wait with uninstalling because it is not a big kind of bug. Once you fixed it after some days, now weeks are passing. Can you finally do anything with this situation or at least give us any information? I am looking forward to seeing a reply. I am asking you to make dozens of players posting here (and me as well) a surprise and answer.

They did leave a reply in this forum but not in this thread though. I can’t find it in all the threads but basically it says they were testing a solution internally.
(I know, i know, that’s some high level information)

That being said, repairing the client did make it better for me! I played 5 games yesterday and didn’t get stuck once! Yay. You guys should at least give it a try!

Repairing the client did not fix it for me. At least not for very long if it did.

Sure you can do that, but your motivation is falling very low when it seems to be happening almost every spvp match you play, like my motivation did just before I wrote this. Three times loading screen bugs when died three times, so not seriously gonna start game every time I die… This thing here has been going on way too long, hope you’ll seriously do something for this. Really hate this game right now for this very unplayable situation.

So havent played in weeks because of this and spvp being one of the only things ive been doing lately (after ur 3rd 80 pve gets a bit boring and wvw has been boring since day 1 to me…just seems pointless)

But nope cant even get a good match in spvp without problems it seems…thought id hop on today and get a few games in before going out…first match went a good while before finally dying to end up with a endless load screen…waste of time =/ this issue was reported over a month ago if not longer ( i know i reported it over a month ago, believe others did even before me)
