With the HGH trait chosen, Toss Elixirs say they give two Might but only gives one.

i have noticed this a long time ago and prevented me from going the elixer build cause you lose around 6 stacks off might ultimately

this has always been this way. consuming elixirs gives you 2 stacks of might and tossing them gives you 1 might. it is supposed to behave this way. it is the tooltip that is incorrect and there is no bug with the mechanic itself.
