Guild Wars 2

Before the patch if you entered equipment screen and clicked for example the weapon slot, the UI on the left would filter all items in your inventory according to that slot and would show you only weapons you could equip into that slot. Same with armor, if you clicked the helmet slot the game would show you only helmets from your inventory that you can equip at this time into that slot.

Right now no matter which slot you click, the UI on the left doesn’t get updated and doesn’t filter the items accordingly. Instead of that you get to see all the items from your inventory, which makes no sense.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Load any character.
2. Open hero panel and choose equipment section.
3. Click on your character’s weapon slot.
4. Notice that instead of only relevant items (weapons you can equip in that slot) being shown, all your inventory contents are displayed in the left part of the equipment UI including armors, opals, gathering tools etc.
5. Do the same for any armor slot, gathering tool slot etc. and notice same effect.
6. Try to remember that before the patch, it was working correctly and was awesome.

The new patch screwed up the UI as indicated above.

Yup.

One of the latest patches changed these:

• In the bank panel, double clicking on an item no longer moves it to the bank unless it’s a stackable item and there is already a stack of that item in the bank.
• In the Equipment view of the Equipment panel, all other item types are no longer hidden when a specific slot is selected.

It is rather annoying having a filter that doesn’t filter, and having to manually move stuff to the bank.

Not only should come back item filter in the equipment tab, but also the bank panel should send items inside again with not just double clicks, but single clicks, and ignore closed tabs so you can close previous tabs an put all the stuff you want in the bank quickly with single clicks in the first open tab.
