Event ‘Prevent the centaurs from capturing Nebo Terrace’ in Gendarran is out of control. Way too many veterans and elites. I’m sure it isn’t intended.

This is intentional as per the Feature Patch

The Harathi centaurs and their allies have called in elite reinforcements and champions to assist them in capturing Nebo Terrace from the Seraph.
The event “Prevent the centaurs from capturing Nebo Terrace” has been upgraded to a group event.
The event “Prevent the centaurs from capturing Nebo Terrace” now grants a daily reward on event success.

While I am all for more challenging content, I think this one got a bit over tuned even for a group event. I tried doing it twice last night with a bunch of people and before the end of the event, it was a sea of centaurs in the village square. I saw at least three champions with a large number of elites and even more veterans. The good news was, even though we failed both times, I finished the Veteran Slayer monthly in those two fights.

The event is extremely over the top now. I tried to help a group (of at least 20 players) get it done three times yesterday. Each time, the center was just overwhelmed by the number of champions and elites. We tried intercepting the champs and elites outside the town, but more would show up before we got the champ down to even 50% health.

I’m all for making group events, and making them challenging. However, this one needs to be toned down a bit.

I have to agree with Rose. This hasn’t turned into a group event, it has more relation to a world event, like the temples. But, even some of the temples are easier to do and are in higher level areas. Just some things to take into consideration.
