Saw a player doing this just now. At first I thought it was network lag but after a more careful observation this did not appear to be the case. I reported them for botting as there’s no exploit option in the drop down menu nor can you attach a note.
Wish I could provide more information.

Botting is the right report option..
i’ve seen many of this ones. they often atack the air hoping they find a target..
with pixel color detection they can see if they are atacking something if they are using the client and some sort of script.. but i suspect is a complete diferent client they use since they have that wierd teleport between targets to move around, and its sad that the server has no “teleport protection” as people can use the same mechanic to move around WvW maps inside keeps and all sort of obstacles.
There are skills that teleport between mobs even for a long distance like 1200 units.
I took a screen shot to show you the range of 1200 units.
The green circle on the ground at the top of this picture show how far I can cast a spell = in this case 1200 units.
As you can see this is really large distance.
There are talents that allow people to teleport. Could that have been what it was?
I really doubt it. We’re talking anything from a standard 1200 teleport up to something over 5000 range, and that’s only the ones I could see due the limitations on view distance. They were also playing the same class as me (elementalist) so I am acutely aware of all the skills they have access to and the corresponding cooldowns.
Sounds like someone may have figured out how to manipulate the information back and forthing between the server and the client. Took Blizzard years to finally thwart that by making the game client crash if it sent back information that seemed too far off the last communication between the two.
That is, unless they mastered the Ele earth bug. >.> There is something that happens with the dagger earth ability to pull yourself to a mob once in a great while. I have never been able to reliablly produce it, but sometimes it lets you pull yourself to a mob waay out of it’s range. I have done it by accident (tab targeting) a couple times, but not in recent.
The teleporting melee is a key to finding a bot. Typically they run the Warrior Signet GS build. There is NO instant teleport for warrior, there are leaps and dashes, but not a mob to mob teleport like these botting hackers are using. It is quite obvious.
