Guild Wars 2

I’m new but this quest seems bugged to me. I’ve found Faren and he is being attacked but there is no one to kill or rescue him from. He just keep asking for help but there are no mobs around to kill to help him. I’m just stuck here.

I ran into the same problem. The issue seems to be that the mobs spawn too slowly and you walk past them into the house and upstairs. I went inside the house after killing a few mobs that spawned near the front door. I walked up the stairs killing one more mob and found faren in a bugged loop asking for help when there was no mobs around and interacting with him just plays a sound of him asking for help. I almost gave up but I walked back outside the house again and found another mob to kill. After killing that mob a named (elite?) mob spawned in front of the house; after killing him I went back in the house and faren was able to be rescued.

Hope that helps fix the bug or at least helps someone that is stuck.
