Hello,

I just attempted to Fine Transmute my Exotic armor I purchased from Temple of Grenth in Orr. The chest piece cost me 45,000 Karma. When I selected the proper stats and traits and agreed to Transmute, the Transmute process instead chose the stats from the lesser item I wanted the Exotic piece to take the appearance of. Now the armor piece has been destroyed due to this bug, please help me out.

I rather would like some swift assistance, 45,000 Karma is no laughable cost.

They’re not able to do item restorations yet, but apparently once they have restorations working they’ll be able to go back and restore things for people who lost stuff in the meantime.

In short, you’ll have to wait and no one knows how long.

I’m a little frustrated that I just paid them money for Fine Transmute, only to turn around and have that money wasted by not doing what I wanted it to do. Furthermore, I’m out 45k Karma.

Seems to me a lot of people are having trouble with Transmute as it sometimes bugs up on certain pieces of armor. They really need to fix this swiftly, as they are basically accepting money for a system that doesn’t even work.

Additional note: I logged out and logged back in, and the item properly displayed the item stats and the appearance!
