I have been playing for months on a daily basis and before this week I could count on my hand the number of times it looked like a player glitched through a door. This week I have seen it happen about a dozen times.
I don’t know if it is an honest mistake or not, but the frequency has gone WAY up. Either way this is something that should and hopefully will be addressed soon. A lot of players just assume it is cheating and it is starting to create a lot of rumbling.

This happened to me for the first time this week, and the first time I saw it happen (to others) was this week too. I was so surprised when it happened I didn’t actually use it to my advantage, but still. I think it is becoming more common and it makes me nervous. In wvw people’s first instinct isn’t “oh a glitch, quick report it” but “everyone get to the lord room!”
Ok I was at watergate keep on red side EB this morning when Vizunah attacked and I saw several players pass through the gate. However I was with only one other player and they never attacked us or attempt to approach the inner gate but jumped back over the wall to continue to dps the gate. I have no idea how they kept passing through the gate but everytime they did they did the right thing and returned to their team to break the gate. So credit to those Viz players on this occasion for not glitching on purpose and for not taking advantage of it. 3 different players passed through the gate and all 3 returned to their own players.
I did however hear that they glitched a golem through the same gate the night before and took it to the inner gate but I dunno, I was never there.
According to another thread, Mesmer sword skill #3 can be used to create a clone on the inside of the gate which can then teleport the mesmer player inside (and then portal bomb the whole enemy zerg inside).
Not sure if other classes have similar bugs, but that’s one of the ways people are getting through solid gates.
Long story short: We, the gamers, are tired of having to tell you to fix this game. Test our patches instead of waiting for us to do it for you. This stuff is game breaking and anyone trying to raise awareness is only silenced while those who exploit the situation are free to run around saying “its an accident”, and/or “prove it.”
And you wonder why so many people break the rules… What do theY have to lose?

It never worked before, i am a mesmer and I’ve seen a lot how my phantasms get spawned inside the gate I tried some times with my sword skill but clone appears to the outside where all of us are maybe it the bug of the week

It doesn’t look that directly intentional. In almost every case their is a zerg on one side of the door and as they are wailing on the door a player or two pops through. Last time I saw it was an attack on our Red EB Overlook and 3 players (2 thieves and an unknown) glitched through. The unknown popped through, ran up the stairs and hopped over the wall.
It looks like a bug but could be the result of some hack… either way it seems to have grown considerably in frequency this week.

It does need to be fixed :/ should NOT have mesmers abusing this glitch to portal bomb people into other peoples keeps without knocking down a wall or gate.

At one point, we had a complete defensive force in our Borderlands. The enemy glitched into Bay with about 20+ and took it. Do You realize how demoralizing that is?
