If you are not already aware (i am sure you are) we are now getting Gold sellers spamming in game mail, in Rift there is report spam functionality within the mail, So just a friendly suggestion for some added functionality as i could not see a way to report them.

I’ve gotten three of these in the last four days as well. I’d report them if there was an easy way to do so, but unless their name actually pops up within the chat window, I’m not sure how to.

According to the game status update, which is updated daily, a fix is going in tonight to report gold sellers via in-game mail.

They’re using some sort of online scan as well. I received one the second I logged in online.

You can just type in the name of the sender into your friends list and you will ‘befriend’ the sender and will be able to see their name and report them for Spamming.

I rather not put them in my friendlist at all,ill just save the messages so i can block them in the future,if they havent been banned already by then.My q is,Where do they get the names from ? I mean ive gotten messages from people i know i havent seen anywhere,with the stranges names.Do they have a list of player names or something ? If so how did they acquire this ?

I just got one of the mails. I’m just going to leave it in my inbox until I can report it.
