I’d like to bring this to your attention if it has already not been brought to your attention once before, but the Guardian skills at least for me seem to be bugged. Allow me to explain.
When using the skills, on hotkeys 2 (not so often), and 4 (happens ALL the time), it seems as if the screen zooms in incredibly close for a brief moment, it’s almost barely noticeable, but it’s sitll there, and for quite some time now, it’s been bothering me slightly. I do have a couple of screenshots by mere chance after hours of trying to figure out what the skills were doing, to finally snap some shots of what was exactly going on, which is the camera would automatically zoom in super close almost at your feet, and when I mean a brief second, I mean this literally looks like a flicker, that’s how quick it happens.
Using skill number two, I have only seen this happen in one, or a two spots, the swamps in the human land, and using skill four, no matter what I am this always happens, where I’ll get that zoom in which looks like a flicker for a brief moment. Now, I’d done some experimentation, with my Desktop, which has dual crossfired 7970’s (Gigabyte Brand), and at first, I thought maybe this was an issue strictly due to the type of cards I was using, however, just recently I was out of town for work, and decided to bring my laptop with me which is using Nvidia as the brand of cards. The exact same thing happens with both skills, and I’m still getting that flickering which is a zoomed in image. After testing this on my computer, and my laptop, I’ve decided to ask a buddy who was using Nvidia cards in his desktop to try using Guardian skills as well, he had the exact same issue.
Now, I can’t speak for everyone who’s playing a Guardian out there, as I’m sure it’s probably only happening to a select few, I wouldn’t know the exact number,s but I do not believe this is an issue on my side. I believe this to be more of an issue with the actual game (AKA a bug), and something that should be looked into.
To end off on, I’d like to show some screenshots I’ve managed to take, while the skills were in “Mid-Flicker”, which is actually the zoomed images I keep going on about.
(The first one shows the proper skill animaiton, the second and third will show the camera being zoomed in to a ridiculous point, which then zooms back out after the skill)
