Guild Wars 2

The Guild History panel seems to be suddenly broken today, where it was working yesterday. The scroll bar seems to be one solid bar, instead of a smaller bar allowing for scrolling. The result being a large window that extends well beyond the game window for all the information, as well as the drop down to select the filter. It could be there is something in our guild info that is causing this, but that still seems like it shouldn’t be possible. I can’t even move the window to see the top of it with some of the filters selected.

The other Guild Panels seem to be working.

I’ve only just seen your post Saucermote. Yesterday, I got back into the game (after being away for a week, due to computer problems.) But I noticed that our guild’s History panel is looking broken too.

Our guild name appears in single letters (meaning one letter per line) down the left-hand side:

As you have mentioned, the other Guild Panels appear to be working as they should.

I probably should have added that other guildies are seeing the same effect. (All within the EU, Gandara server, if that helps.)

I have an update on this. It is still broken, and while I believe the underlying cause may be having a long message of the day, ultimately it is something with the small interface size.

When I set the interface size back to normal in the options, it fixes this. I don’t feel this is a very good work around, as then nothing really fits very well on the screen, but it may explain why more people aren’t complaining about the issue.

So if ANET people are trying to recreate, set and edit several long messages of the day, so there is a history of them, set the interface to small, and then donate or build a bunch of stuff in your guild hall. You likely won’t be able to see it on your screen without moving it your guild tab off the screen.
