Hi,

I am localized on “Mer De Jade” server, and my guild is on “Fort Ranik”.
Even in Guest mode on their server, I have no access to the guild chest (my leader gave me proper permissions). The NPC tells (sorry for the translation): “Your guild has not built the warehouse, …"
No need to precise the chest had been created and works fine for others guild members. Is it a bug related to the fact I am not ‘native’ from that server ? Is there a way to fix this ?

For reasons incomprehensible to me, Guild improvements have always worked like this, as noted in the introduction to the wiki article on Influence :

  • Influence is acquired separately for each home server.
  • Improvements are built only for one server at a time.

This means your guild’s influence is mostly generated for the Fort Ranik “chapter” of the guild, leaving those of you on Mer de Jade without much.

Although not how I would design the system, it’s working as intended, i.e. not a bug.

Well, I supposed it was in order to limit resources sharing between servers, in order not to unbalance the economy of the game, but preferred to ask, just in case.

Regarding guild bank then, no problem, I can do without it and can understand the limit

Regarding rewards / influence / guild missions… Anet can tell it had been done “by design”, but let’s be honest: such design looks like bugs, and should be improved (I tell a bit more in dedicated thread I created for this, not to mix everything)

By the way: although ANet never admitted to this being broken (and always wanted to “splinter” guilds exactly like this), they plan to “fix” it. Unfortunately, reunification won’t be sooner than the end of the year. (See the other post for details.)
