Guild Wars 2

Since yesterday’s smallish update, our guild is not gaining influence for events. In particular the Frozen Maw chain. Normally I get +2 guild influence for solo and +20 per event with a guildie. For the last 24 hours it’s been +0 for both scenarios.

I can confirm others are in the same boat – in maw. In fact I wasn’t the first one to notice it.

I’ve done dungeons last night and am getting influence points for that. I think was +10 for finishing a path in AC.

Did a bunch of searches and couldn’t find anything in the forums or anyone else about this.

Just did another maw run and still at +0.

Tried “stand down” then re-toggling “represent guild” with no effect.
Tried exiting and re-entering game with no effect.

Same for me. This was from the update “that didn’t change anything.”

I noticed the same problem yesterday. So did some checking around, The only time I would gain influence is when I guested to another server. I tried 2 accounts and various professions. We did do a couple of the dragons and we got the 20 influence from those. But in Wayfarers we would not receive any points at all, regardless how large the guild party was. Unless we were guested into another server. we are from the Gate of Madness, so not sure if it is just to that server or game wide. I’m so glad someone else noticed this, it was driving me crazy thinking I was doing something wrong.

I’m on Desolation, been getting the same thing so it’s not just one particular server. Someone broke something I think.

hmm maybe it’s just wayfarer’s. An attempt to limit gains in maw chain perhaps. Or just something broken while laying the foundation for the new guild missions that are coming up.

Funny thing is my inf counter advanced by ten points yesterday… I’d have expected at least 20 times that but it shows that something’s going on. What that “something” is, is anybody’s guess…
