Guild Wars 2

I know this is probably an overused and outdated request, but I would really like to see actual rewards for all the time and platinum I invested in my Hall of Monuments. If we could get wardrobe skins for all the prestige weapons and armor unlocked in the original Guild Wars, that would be absolutely amazing, and I can think of multiple people who would actually come back to both games if something like this happened, people who have lost their desire to play because of the mediocre rewards in comparison to the huge amount of time that was invested. I don’t know if we can get a petition started or what, but this doesn’t seem like it would be terribly difficult with the new wardrobe system that we have now. I would even be satisfied with just being able to display the HoM contents in GW2, anything really. Every once in a while I will go and look at the HoM rewards calculator and throw up in my mouth a little. The disparity between how much time I spent getting that stuff, and the things I have to show for it in GW2 is just a little depressing.

I would personally like to see some rewards for original GW1 players who didn’t purchase EOTN. My GW1 character is overloaded with swag and loot but gets nothing because no expack. Sniff.

I just want the old skins back in GW2. Even in the gem store. I want to wear my heavy Elite Templar and Elite Platemail again.

I forgot that GW1 was only made so you could get items for GW2.

The point was to have it be for Guild Wars 1 players who achieved great things in the first game, this can include the Expansion and Campaigns. I feel the skins are fine as are in my honest opinion. I"m only currently 13/30 for skins but I feel they are worth the time it took to do so. Don’t forget that the fun in getting the HoM is to actually play Gw1 and enjoy the game.

I understand why it was made and that GW2 is it’s own game, I’ve spent thousands of hours in both. I’d just like to see the old stuff added back in, maybe as they release the new expansions they can add the weapons and armor from the first Guild War’s corresponding areas. The gem store idea is a great one, I don’t really care how it’s added to the game, I’d just like to see it happen. They already have a few things, maybe more are in the works. I’m sure it would be a money-maker for Arena.net no matter how they do it, either in gem store revenue or from returning players. I would buy them all immediately.
