I tried to test out Superior Hydromancy & Geomancy runes on the underwater test golems in the PvP area. Despite being in combat the sigils effects do not activate when placed on harpoon guns or spears.

I don’t think this is intentional for these sigils to be land bound. I suspect that maybe this has to do with a lack of an underwater animation and maybe the effect doesn’t trigger if an animation doesn’t trigger?

(Didn’t we have the same issue with the Elementalist tornado elite before they added the maelstrom animation?)

I’m relatively certain they do not. Playing around yesterday and today we killed the Blood Witch (krait group event boss) about three times and I hadn’t noticed my sigil of air go off at all. I can try with fire, but I imagine the results will be the same.

doesnt work still,just tested…
