In Lake Doric, when running from Red Leaf Retreat WP to Noran’s Homestead there are spots with massive FPS drops and stuttering/lag. I can confirm that this is not an issue specific to just me, map chat has been discussing it a fair bit this last hour. It is specific to the Harvest Cascades area and is also affecting Noran’s Secret Chest which, you can imagine, makes getting through the traps rather interesting.

I too have been experiencing massive amounts of lag (I call them ‘lag bubbles’ as they seem to float around and are active when a player travels through them in one direction only) for over a week now. They are clustered around the north-western end of Lake Doric and such that the JP under the Cascades is virtually impossible now.

This direction thing is important I feel. Exiting from the WP in that corner and heading east triggers them, but going west does not. And yet the ones under and over the same region are all west-bound triggers. The problem is such that it is seriously effecting the calm of players in that area, and I have noted a considerable drop in persons there because its impossible to fight or evade when its like being in a black hole.

Yep. I’m seeing it, too.

There’s a bug affecting Noran’s Safe House (the lighting), and the second impact is stuttering in parts of the map just above. The devs are aware of it and working on a fix. I thought I remember them saying they had a fix imminent.
