Earlier today I was able to complete part 1 of 2 of the Lifetime Survivor achievement (200,000xp without dying). I decided to continue veerrryyyy carefully working my way towards part 2 of the achievement (500,000xp without dying), but it suddenly stopped updating my progress once I got to 210,862 / 500,000. I have not died, and have earned in the neighborhood of 80,000xp more since it last updated. I did log off for about 2 hours when I was somewhere around the 210,000 mark and I am wondering if perhaps you can’t log off while progressing this achievement even though that is not stated in the achievements tab? Can this be confirmed or is this bugged? I have spent a significant amount of time today being as careful as possible while working on this and am hoping to not have to start over and do 500,000xp in a row without logging out.

It stops if you go into another zone or log off from what I understand … but not 100% certain on the logging off part.

Not a bug.

It stops if you die or zone in any way. One dev said this was intentional, to prevent ppls from crossing a zone or logging out to preserver their status. On the other hand, you can still get this title by crafting (maxing a discipline starting with an L60+ toon is sufficient) and it’s certainly easy to run a chained event in and L50+ area to get the 500 kXP.

Thanks for the responses. I’ll keep all that in mind whenever I decide to start up again.
