Guild Wars 2

I went in and killed the Mad King for the first time today. I didn’t know about a chest and left without looting it. I now cannot start a new Mad King killing event and any party (tried several) will automatically have a glitched instance with me in the group.

The event starts when you open that iron gate I assume, well for me the gate is always open. There is nothing there for me to do, I searched.

Has anyone else had this happen? Possible fixes?

If the gate is open when you get there have you tried looking around seeing if the chest is there. Maybe you still have a chance to open it and fix the issue yourself.
