The Diving Goggles that is supposed to be at the floating stones bridge at Loch Jezt, west of the Durotl Grounds POI, is missing.

I have searched on all the floating stones and couldn’t find the goggles.

Server: Underworld.

I might be going slightly mad.

I’ve been trying to knock over this achievement and it’s driving me crazy. There are two diving goggles (according to the Wiki locations) which are apparently bugged.

One is in the Harathi Hinterlands, near Guardian Lake on a platform west of the Koofooloo point of interest. There’s a little camp with some NPCs and behind it is a platform with the goggles. I equip the goggles. I make the jump into the water below, but I do not receive credit for it. I’ve opened my tab to watch the achievement click over and I’m sure it’s not registering the jump.

The second is even more blatant. The goggles which are meant to spawn on the rock bridge in Loch Jezt of Metrica Province, west of Durotl Grounds point of interest, aren’t spawning. I’ve seen a screen shot of where the goggles are exactly meant to be, and they’re simply not there (Fort Aspenwood server).

If a developer or another player could clear either of these issues up I’d be greatly appreciative – this challenge is driving me insane. Not that this is the place for suggestions, but it’d be nice if these diving achievements were tracked similarly to jumping puzzles; so you knew which ones you had and which ones you didn’t.

I had only a little trouble with bugged goggles – they didn’t auto-remove. I could go anywhere in the world in my swim suit, which was kind of fun

To fix that bug, I had to do a dive that was anything other than the one that caused the bug. The reason I post this is to suggest that maybe doing an alternate dive first will fix your trouble with Koofooloo.

I noted Koofooloo as a problem when I first did it, and completed the rest on my list before coming back to it. No matter what I do I don’t seem to get credit for the Koofooloo jump and I can’t for the life of me figure out why.

I can confirm this. I am on Desolation server and the goggles at Loch Jezt are permanently missing, since the patch on 01 November.

It is currently impossible to complete 37/37 on the Diving Master title track because of this bug.

I’ll confirm this, as well.

I’m on Ruins of Surmia server and the problem is the same. Collected 36/37 locations, with this one missing.

Can confirm this too. They’re missing on the Desolation server.

Someone nicked those fancy goggles on Gandarra too I’m afraid. -snif-

Can someone who has made that jump before have a look to see if it’s a server issue?

I tried this achievement yesterday. There is already a tread bout the missing goggles in metrica on atleast 4 different servers. As for the hinterlands, I didn’t have any problems with it, I also doubt if it has to do with an event going on in the water cause the achievement is counted when you put the goggles on (and not when you dive).

The OP I would ask to check very good that you didn’t skip any other diving location. Keep in mind that this update is from the start of halloween. Any diving locations visited before that date would not be counted.

Thank you very much for the update. I wasn’t aware that there were other threads about this, I did (what I thought was) a pretty thorough search on the forums regarding the issue. Never the less, thanks very much. That makes me feel a lot better about the Metrica goggles issue.

As for the Koofooloo Jump, I’ll have to do what you suggest and try them all again. I’m 99% sure that it is that specific jump which didn’t count as I was keeping meticulous track of which jumps I was doing so as to avoid this issue – but I may have had a senior moment and screwed the pooch.

For me “Diessa Plateau / Manbane’s Outcrop” did not register.

I found out that some jumps require that you use skill 1 or skill 2 to register
On the low jumps (like the one above, its easy to fail using it in time)

P.S. diving goggles metrica/LochJezt are missing on RingOfFire sinds haloween act4 patch.

So, since there are 2 diving locations in Metrica, what if you get the goggles up north, run all the way down to the bugged one, and jump. Would you get the achievement? I’m thinking I might try that, but if anyone does it before I get on later, give me an update if that works.

you get ungoggled when you run further then a few yards. Beside that it is putting the goggles on at a certain location that makes it count for the achievement and not the dive itself (I tried it with the achievement window up, and its updated when you get the googles on, i never dived at some, and got all but the missing metrica-location done).

This is still missing immediately after the new build/reset tonight.

Also missing on server Henge of Denravi, already reported it and waiting nearly 1 week, need to fix it so I can be able finish this achievement, stuck at 36/37 now

Still missing on Gunnar’s Hold as well, even soon after the today’s update.

And still at 35/37, despite having revisited all the currently accessible goggles.

whiteside ride(EU) and they are bugged and missing too, was hoping that this patch would put them back so went there this morning and still nothing

Desolation (EU) have the missing goggles in metrica as well.. Its all i have left before my achievment. Very disapointing how as soon as stuff is turned into an achievement, half of those things also become bugged.

Loch Jezt Diving Goggles are missing (Jade Quarry)

Loch Jezt Diving Goggles are missing as well ( Sea of Sorrows)..have been trying for past 3 days to see if tehy spawn..but no luck.

The wiki page got recently updated saying that the problem is the respawn time (up to 30 minutes). I’ve been camping at the stone for ages, and been parking my character there every time. But so far no luck No matter how long I stand there or how often I visit it, the goggles are not there (Gandara). Could anyone confirm it is a matter of patience??

Okay, just been trying to do this:
Worked through the wiki list from top to end (sans loch jetz one). This means I located, equipped the goggles, and jumped of the nearest ledge towards a body of water.
33 / 37
IF the achievement is checked on equipping the goggles there is a bug.
IF the achievement is checked on the dive (entering the body of water) there is your bug. Some dives just turn me back into combat armor mid fall, Sculptor’s end in Malchor’s Leap as well as the Jetsam Isle one in Lornar’s Pass I recognized this.

Looking foward to a fix asap.

P.S.: Just for the sake of hope and sparing my patience from more loading screen adventures it would not be possible to just set the achievement to 40/40 now would it?

I just went through the same list today and got 36/37. Missing the Loch Jetz one everyone is complaining about.

Regularly visiting Loch Jetz at least a week.
Many times tried to visit very early, like 8:00 GMT.
No goggles.
Aurora Glade.

Wow, it’s amazing how long it’s taking to fix one pair of Goggles in the world…. I’m still waiting on the Loch Jezt ones too. Sitting on 36/37 until they fix it

I don’t think the wiki is correct either with the 30 min spawn bug as I’ve sat there much longer than that while eating dinner and still nothing.
