Guild Wars 2

I was told by a few people to post this issue here. Whenever I open my map, I don’t see any sort of progress tracker on my screen like how it should be. For example:

this is a picture of someone’s Rata Sum map with all their map progress in the top left corner of their map screen.
Now here is a picture of my map of Rata Sum:

As you can see there is no sort of map progress on the top left of the screen. I’m not sure if this is an easy fix and something is just turned off that shouldn’t be, but I’ve checked in the game options and such and can’t for the life of me figure out how to display that on my maps again. How can I fix this issue?
