Not sure where to post this, but on the second chest (the 500 pt one), we (or at least I) got a PvP equipment chest, within the achievement chest, which gave us a bunch of PvP equipment.
Aren’t they all supposed to be account bound? I got a PvP Stalwart gloves (medium armor) on my Guardian, which is the one I opened the chest on, and all but those gloves were depositable (they disappeared after I hit deposit collectibles), and the only thing I can think is that they are soulbound. I can’t even equip them since they are the wrong armor class, so it wasn’t that I equipped them and soulbound them to that character.

Has anyone else had this happen?

Deposit the into your pvp locker (you can access it in the pvp zone of the mists). You’ll have a locker there to view and will see that the leather is no longer soul bound. It worried me yesterday too because the leather chest and heavy armor hat I got on my elementalist said the same thing, then I accidentally sorted my bag and it all vanished from inventory.

Went to go check there (I don’t pvp, so it took me a while to realize that it probably was dumped into that zone), and there it was. I THINK my light armor gloves I’d gotten were soulbound to her, but everything else wasn’t.

I already did deposit all of them, using the deposit all thing. Only those gloves stayed, which is cause they’re soulbound, even though I can’t even use them. I haven’t tried going into the Mist and see if it will let me just drop them into the locker yet though. Might try that tonight. I don’t want to just delete them, cause I would like to keep them for another character (if I ever PvP).

You can’t not deposit them because they’re soulbound, you can’t deposit them because you already have a pair in your PvP locker.

All PvP items are soulbound to the character they’re on, you can only have one of a particular type in the locker at any given time.

So is the pvp locker character specific then? I thought the locker was account based.
I’m not sure how I would have gotten one of these gloves before though, I don’t PvP.

No, it is account bound, but I’m almost 100% positive if you go to the locker, you’ll have a pair of Stalwart Gloves sitting in there.

Well I’ll try to remember to check tonight. Not sure how I would already have them, unless that achievement chest gave me two of the same thing. I always assumed you could just keep adding stuff to the locker and it would just keep increasing the number in there. Never thought it would be only one of a kind in there.

PvP locker is one per item. All pvp item are soulbound when placed in the inventory, but become unbound at the locker, so you can withdraw it with other characters.
Also, it is possible to get the same item multiple times from a pvp chest, my record is 4 of the same focus from one chest You can salvage the extra ones with pvp salvage kit, and the materials can be used in the MF to create different pvp items.
