Not receiving 1000 point gold find boost
The Achievement chests are awarded once a day. They’re award retroactively until they catch up to your current level of achievement points.
As to the gold find not displaying…where are you looking? If you are in the first, default tab of the Hero window (where your toon’s armor stats are displayed next to a picture of the toon, the gold find bonus will not be there. The MF increase will — that is considered part of the armor stats. To see the gold find boost (and the karma boost received with the 1500 chest), click on the Achievement tab in the Hero window (the Anet logo in a little yellow circle). All the account achievement stats gained to date will be there.

If you don’t see the gold and karma boosts there…it could be a bug.
The first two chests you receive are the 100 and 500 point chest. It is confusing the way they display them. The chests across the top of your achievement panel are future chests that you have not yet received.
More than likely, you have received 2 chests, the 100 and 500, and still have yet to claim the 1000 and 1500. These chests can only be claimed once per day until caught up.

Whups….forgot about the 100-point first chest. The OP didn’t mention a Zenith weapon skin, so they likely haven’t gotten the 1k chest as you said.
