When retrieving the second research team. After you have rescued them and fought they do not follow you as intended and the story mission if therefor unable to be completed.

This mission has been bugged for two weeks now, blocking people’s progress in the story. I’d have thought something like this would be a major priority now.

Incurred in this bug yesterday on my mesmer. Would be nice to know if it’s being worked on.

Are you absolutely sure it’s a bug, or perhaps some step that you might have missed in completing the chapter? I ask this because I did “Forging the Pact” on my warrior just about an hour and a half ago and completed it successfully. From what I’ve read, and it’s a bit scattershot, the problem seems to be coming because the barricades in front of the first group of researchers are often not being cleared/destroyed (I did that so didn’t experience the bug, if bug it actually is).

There is another long thread on this topic. ANet had been trying to provide fixes to no avail
