Good day staff and fellow users

There is a bug in the Not So Secret puzzle jump in Grendarran Fields.

The first gear after the first piston that is supposed to catapult players across to a ledge does not catapult players.

This makes the puzzle jump in accessible to players.

Please see attached file for an illustration.

A guardian can still complete the puzzle using “Leap of faith”
not sure on other classes.

Its not just the first gear, its all of them, the pistons to push you up all work, but none of the gears work.

I can’t access the ledge, Piston is broken

Devs posted about it being broken. Still no fix.

attempted this last night managed to get in with the help of a mesmer using an elementalists lightning hammer thing. Though the elementalist left before we got to the last piston launcher.

When did it first break is kind of suspicious that there is a daily involving aetherblades and area where many have gone in the past to kill them is not accessible. Kind of wish they would just remove the POI there.

Tried to do it with a friend today. So discouraging, this was the best puzzle EVER Please fix it.

Just attempted this JP myself and it’s still bugged. Although if those who choose to I’ve discovered that the Experimental Teleportation Gun that can be purchased in Timberline Falls does work to complete to puzzle.

Why don’t they just put a waypoint on the inside to get past this annoying part. Once discovered, no need to repeat over and over again.

I know that any charr, warrior, guardian, or ranger can get passed the gears and into the jumping puzzle a charr with the 4 ability on the charrzooka skill can jump you across, warriors have a skill on their sword I believe is called “sword-thrust” Guardians have the 3 skill on their great-swords and rangers have an ability using a sword (though it causes you to jump back first and then leaps you for a far greater distance afterward). I believe the ranger has one other move that they can use but I don’t remember.

Was hoping this last last patch would fix it, but no such luck

As of December 2nd, it’s still not working.

I can’t believe this still hasn’t been fixed. It seems like it must be something very small…

i find you have to jump on it at a certain interval. i could be wrong as i did it about 20 days ago..

Confirmed that this still doesn’t work.

It discourages me how something that is fun and challenging is still not fixed. This puzzle is one of the main reasons why i keep playing. It just amazes me as same as Super Mario did in my old SNES. You actually need to try several times to win and be really skilled.

So… something that i love and it get’s broken… please fix it, i love GW2 but i love that puzzle more than WvsW or PvP

not in a dungeon, so you would be able to use them. (they can’t be used in dungeons or wvw – gerrrrrr)

still cant do the puzzle Arenanet ? hello? im just standing there and the caracter just jumps by him selfs and its like a wall it wont propell forward
