This has probably been brought up before but it still remains a big problem.

In a significant amount of my downed fights against ranger, they will use their 3 skill with a dead pet. For some reason, the pet is still able to rez the ranger, but is invulnerable to cc or damage.

It would be great to know if you plan to fix this.

OH OH—here we go again. Not a bug, no fix required. Works the same in PvE too.

The skill revives the pet if it’s dead and then the pet revives the ranger. That part isn’t a bug.

If the pet remains invulnerable for more than a second or two, that would be a bug.

The ranger is not invulnerable. Not a pvp player, but I’ve died plenty of times during lick wounds.

The pet invulnerability is only granted when that pet is actually revived by Lick Wounds. If Lick Wounds is cast while the pet is alive, they will still run over to you and start to heal you, but are left at whatever health/status they were at when called, meaning they are fully susceptible to CC and damage.

If the pet is dead when Lick Wounds is cast, the pet is fully healed and granted a few seconds of invulnerability.

That said, your choices are as follows.

1) Cleave out or stomp the ranger before he can cast Lick Wounds (You have 20 seconds to do so).

2) If you cannot do the above, keep an eye on the pet’s health. Keep it low, but don’t kill it.

I just had this problem except the invulnerability lasted a lot longer than “a few seconds”

I was letting him bleed since he was far off point and I had interrupted his pets every time he used Lick Wounds.

One of them was very low, like 10% HP, and he used Lick Wounds again, and it’s been a minute now, so I decide to kill him. I start tossing grenades and not only does it return “Invulnerable” for the pet but it returns it for him as well. He healed from 5% to 100% right in front of me and I wasn’t able to stop it. I tried Grenade Kit, Tool Kit, and Rifle skills, nothing did any damage. I used knockback on the wolf when he was nearly at 100% and it was still invulnerable. What’s that, like a solid 15 seconds of invulnerability?

I’m not talking about the ranger, I’m talking about the pet. And it doesn’t happen every time, just a significant amount.
