Guild Wars 2

I have refined more than 20 items such as copper ore or green logs with no change in my crafting experience. My understanding, reinforced by the balloon that appears, is that I should see my crafting experience rise which I recall happened in the past.

When I make goods I get the expected credit.

Can someone either confirm this is a bug or that my expectation of crafting credit is incorrect? I don’t really want to do any more crafting until I know what is expected behavior.

What colour is the recipe in the production recipe list? If it’s gray it means that it’s trivial and you no longer gain xp for it.
