Same here, all Characters get pulled into the Match on skyhammer, already opend a ticked ingame.

Please get this kitten fixed, and anyway.. how can this error return again and again? Isn’t there something like QA testing?

Well, I can’t invite you to my match so it won’t be physical. You could try pleasing my eyes but that’s abou it.

Still stuck in Courtyard… I would like to get out. May I suggest that you do away with the entire…"log out of PvP with one character, and when you log back in with another (that is NOT in the PvP Lobby) you appear in the match?

Still stuck in Courtyard It’s two hours now.

Over two hours in Courtyard, please help.

My problem started when I finished unranked pvp arena and got stuck with other players. I loged out for 5 min. and it worked, but now I can’t enter pvp unranked match, beacuse it says that " Match is in porcess" + now everytime I teleport somewhere or log in I get errors. ;x

Does anyone know what to do now ?

Try logging off the game for a while and getting back on. I went to eat lunch and now I’m unstuck. …and in the matchmaking queue. How did that happen?

I don’t know if there’s a solution to being un-stuck in a pvp map, but I’ve been hanging around in Forest of Niflhel for an hour. If there is a solution to this issue, help would be much appreciated.

Close the game, wait a while (30 min, maybe?), restart. It’s working for some people.

Ah, I get it. It’s an halloween event. The mad king has locked us up in the Mist and other people have to come and rescue us.

1.Close your game completely.
2.Browse your My Computer to: “C:\Users\YourComputerUserName”
3.Then in the window menus, click on “Tools” then “Folder Options…”
4.In the window that pops up, click the “View” tab
5.Select to “Show hidden files, folders and drives” and click ‘OK’ (attached image #1)
6.You should now see a folder in your file listing called “AppData”, open this folder
7.Inside that folder open the “Local” folder
8.Inside that folder open the “Temp” folder
9.You should now see a folder called “gw2cache-{bunch-of-letters-and-numbers}”. 10.Delete this gw2cache folder.
11.Load up your game normally and see if the issue is fixed.

Here you go guys., Worked for me and my friend. This type of issue use to happen in wow and clearing the cache worked usually. let me know if it works. then Anet can offer me a job :P

Since getting unstuck, this keeps coming up:
“Game client is unable to to gain access to the log-in server at this time”
every time I switch maps. Is that because of this? Can someone fix that somehow? Please?

Edit: Even though I’m unstuck now, it thinks I’m still in the match/queue, so that’s what’s causing the error and I can’t queue for any more matches.

Edit2: Problem went away after staying logged off for 10 minutes then logging back on.

So… has the isue been solved?

I had the same problem with my guild mates last night. Eventually we managed to get out of the zone but now we have constant error messages and we cant get in to the ranked and unranked games (only pve is ok) Please Anet help, we want to play pvp.

I had the same problem yesterday with my guardian. But it got fixed somehow over night and now everything works as usual.

Hi mate,

No hard feelings but i would have gone back to school if this had worked for me. However it did not so i need help, i need to play sPvP (maniac voice) Did it on both computers i have and nothing… still an error message and still match in progress. I can play fractals, wvw and everything else that is not sPvP

Two days ago I was stuck in match for few hours.
I turned the game off…
Today everything looked fine, but when i was trying to join a game, it says that match in progress so I cant join a new game?

Please help Anet!!

I managed to get stuck at the bottom of skyhammer because of my necro macner and his minions and traits. It took along time to die there.

stuck in pvp match, the match wont even start. NA servers.

I’m stuck in the rest room. the lights won’t turn on and all the toilets are overflowing… Oh wait, it’s just the endless loading screen.

Although this is way past these posts, what worked for me recently was

Leave map – while in loading screen for (HotM) ctrl+alt+delete and cancel the application

Then restart your computer.

That got me out of it anyways.

This was supposed to be my last round and it’s a diamond game! Won the game, but don’t get my pips! I am stuck.

Got kicked out for update, still in progress and no pips gained.

Same here. We ended up all leaving the map and waiting a bunch of time before logging in again. Everyone needs to leave or it doesn’t work. That kicked us out of the PvP and into the mists and from then, we managed to get into normal maps. Still says we’re in a PvP match though -.- oh well.
