Lately I’ve been getting a lot of skill ghosting where an ability will flash showing that it’s been activated, but it won’t actually do anything. It doesn’t affect skills before or after, but just randomly drops ability activations.
For example, I’ll be doing ele earth -> air burst. Hurl, EQ, lightning flash, air attunement, lightning strike, arcane blast, and it will randomly drop one or more of them (most common is lighting flash). I’m definitely in range and I have fast cast ground targeting on, so it’s not an issue of miss clicks. The buttons flash showing that the commands are making it to the client and it’s not ordinary keyboard ghosting.
It happens in all modes, but far more often in sPvP and WvW than PvE.
