I’m just curious – why have I received no less than ten emails to tell me about “Heart of Thorns” being available at 50% off, in a fine assortment of different languages, when I already do have and play the expansion…?

Even without the flub in sending multiple emails this batch, you would have received the one (in your language of choice) about the sale. Being on the mailing list mean you get to receive each and every email; there’s no discrimination (toward who owns what). Many players wish to, and do, purchase multiple accounts, and wait eagerly for news such as a sale. The only time everyone doesn’t receive the same email is when it is used as a lottery, which is not often.

We apologize for the spam issue and have taken steps to ensure our mail golem does not continue to send in multiple languages in the future. The mind boggles if it continued on this path and started sending in Ascalonian, Old Krytan, and the Orrian Syllabary.

In the future you should receive just one mail. Thanks for your understanding.
