Guild Wars 2

One of my characters is stuck on the loading page after the game shut down for an update. I can’t play that character, but the others work.

Strange enough, I took my alt into HotM, then change character to the one that was stuck, and it fixed it :S

Confirmed. Fixed here too.

I deleted my local.dat file and got right in on the next log in…

Try logging on another character then log off and try again. Fixed problem for me (both chars were in the same area tho)

I tried this and it made me re-download the game. Did this happen to you.

I am also having the endless loading screen problem but it has now got the point where I cannot play the game. The character select screen loads, I choose my character and then wait forever until the error message appears, close my client and try again.
I couldn’t log onto GW today it has become that bad. This never used to happen before and the recent patches have only seemed to make it worse. I think the problem mostly happens in Lion’s Arch, but then of course I can’t log on to get out of there.
And it crashes and leaves me there when (or if, amazingly) I ever manage to log on.

As I said, after 45 minutes of trying I have given up for tonight. These endless loading screens are infuriating.

I had this problem in the past but its becoming increasingly more frequent
ONE of my characters gets stuck on the (and ONLY) lions arch loading screen. ALL my other characters can get into lions arch . . . after a day or two i can normally get that character into lions arch. . . . .
. . . . . .AND ITS REALLY STARTING TO (BIG CAT) ME OFF
