Guild Wars 2

I just purchased the tier 2 sylvari cultural head armor and when I made it visible it took away my sylvari’s hair glow. The tips of her hair have always glowed neon blue, slowly fading in and out.

In an attempt to get the glow back I tried:
Removing the helmet.
Putting the old helmet back on and turning it invisible as it’s always been.
Logging out and back in.
Fully exiting the game and restarting it.
Going through an asura gate to another zone to see if it might reset something.

None of these things did anything to bring back the glow.

Edit: The glow just started working again so maybe I posted this prematurely. I have no idea what made it start working again. Maybe it became night in the game, though I’ve always been under the impression the glow was visible in dark areas and not just when it’s night.

No idea if this might work, but you could try putting the T2 helmet on, using the dye remover on each of its channels, then either make it invisible or remove it, and see if that has any effect. Just a wild guess. Good luck.
